ROTARY YOUTH LEADERSHIP AWARDS

The Rotary Youth Leadership Awards offer men and women between the ages of 18 and 25 years an opportunity  to attend a residential seminar designed to develop their leadership skills. Activities such as rock climbing, abseiling, hiking and camping out, presentation skills, conflict resolution, yoga and discussions on social issues are just part of the week long program.

EARLYACT

EarlyAct is a school wide service club for primary school students from years 5 and 6. It's sponsored by one of the local Rotary clubs in the area where the school is located. The mission and operation of EarlyAct are closely linked to the ideals of Rotary. EarlyAct provides young students the opportunity for gaining an increased awareness and knowledge of their community and the world.

FOUR WAY TEST SPEAKING CONTEST

The Rotary Four Way Test speaking contest encourages teachers and students from each club's link school to take part in this opportunity for public speaking, confidence building and ethics consideration.

NATIONAL YOUTH SCIENCE PROGRAM

Aimed at opening up the possibilities of a career in the S.T.E.M areas for students about to enter year 12. Rotary provides essential support by interviewing, selecting and part-sponsoring participants.

ROTARY YOUTH EXCHANGE

The Rotary Youth Exchange Program provides for the selection and sponsorship of students in the 16-18 year age group to travel to another country to spend 12 months attending a secondary school and living with host families in that country.
